My experience began in a snowboard tuning shop, where I developed an appreciation for the precision and attention to detail that go into properly preparing equipment. That foundation eventually led me into snowboard manufacturing, gaining firsthand knowledge of base materials, core construction, edge assembly, and how each component influences performance on snow.
Understanding how a snowboard is built provides a different perspective on how it should be tuned. From base geometry and structure to edge preparation and finishing, every adjustment is approached with purpose—not simply applying the same routine to every board or pair of skis.
